TELEVISION,
STAGE &
SCREEN

Television

After a life long study of Ballroom and Latin dancing, the world wide phenomenon of Strictly Come Dancing or Dancing With The Stars was debuted in the UK in 2004. Brendan alongside his celebrity partner Natasha Kaplinsky opened the show with a Cha Cha Cha to Chain of Fools by the Commitments and that dance launched what would become a world wide phenomenon and one of the biggest television shows ever to hit the screen. The pair won the first ever series and Brendan's appearances in the show would span 15 series until 2017. Alongside Strictly Come Dancing, Brendan's television career blossomed as he set about creating hundreds of numbers on the hit show as well as performing in the iconic group routines with his fellow professional dancers.

During his many years in the Entertainment business, Brendan has taken part in the most iconic of tv shows including 'SAS Who Dares Wins', 'Xfactor', Intrepid Journeys' (NZ), 'The Pilgrimage', 'Just the Two Of Us' but to name just a few. Also a regular on day time tv shows such as 'Good Morning Britain', Loose Women & 'It Takes Two'.

Further down the line and in his native New Zealand, judging the hit show Dancing With The Stars, alongside Craig Revel Horward was a natural progression for the professional dancer. The New Zealand television show would also see Brendan put his life's work on display by demonstrating the beautiful art form to his home nation.

Theatre Productions

In 2009, Brendan's career path diversified and the natural progression from the television screen to the theatre stage was realised in his first live production aptly named 'Live and Unjudged'. Created, staged, designed and choreographed by Brendan, his attention to detail and flare for choreography quickly turned to a passion for the theatre. Over the following 12 years he created four further stage productions, Licence To Thrill, 'A Night To Remember' 'All Night Long and most recently 'Show Man'.

Brendan will be appearing in the UK tour of 'Legends of the Dance Floor' in October 2024.

His love of stage would also draw him to the UK's Christmas tradition of Pantomime where the more fun side of the performer can be seen as well as his professionalism for the art of stage. This year, he can be seen at the Hull New Theatre where he will revise his role as The Evil Ringmaster, Baron Von Bolshoi.
